Happy Birthday to Eastern Washington Cheerleader Lindsay!

It's not terribly often that I talk to a cheerleader that likes to shoot guns. Let alone a cheerleader who's favorite gun is her dad's AR-15. Ummmm, I don't know a ton about guns, but even I know that an AR-15 is a badass piece of weaponry. But, then again, Eastern Washington cheerleader Lindsay is clearly a badass cheerleader!

In her 3rd year cheering on the Eagles, the business major hopes to continue on with cheer or dance in some way after college. That means we might be lucky enough to see Lindsay on the sidelines of our favorite NFL or NBA team some time in the near future. That would be awesome.

But remember to keep your comments appropriate and complimentary. You never want to piss off a woman that is a crack shot with an assault rifle!

Todd Gurley is Free! The UGA Cheerleaders Can Rejoice!

Somehow the NCAA has decided Todd Gurley has been suspended long enough for getting paid the sign autographs, so he gets to return to the field on November 15. I'm sure the Georgia cheerleaders and dancers are overjoyed at the return of their Heisman candidate. I, however, am a little shocked.

Pittsburg State Cheerleaders All Lined Up

I've been a big fan of the Pitt State cheerleaders for quite awhile now. So I just had to share this line-up of the Gorillas cheerleaders with the rest of you!

Cute Austin Peay Cheerleader

Austin Peay State University doesn't get a ton of exposure here at College Cheerleader Heaven, but they're not new to website either. Hell, it's a lot more press than most Ohio Valley Conference schools get on the internet!

Week 9 Winners: LSU Tigers

The only upset of the weekend was a major one, and we told you it was the game to watch this week! LSU came out and shut down the Ole Miss offense and pulled out a squeaker when Bo Wallace made an ill-advised pass attempt with 9 seconds left.

It was a huge win for the Tigers and a devastating loss for the Rebels.

Props to Utah for beating USC

It might not qualify for our Weekly Winners segment since Utah was actually ranked ahead of USC in the polls, but let's be honest: everyone expected USC to win this game. Fortunately for us, the Utes pulled it off at the last second and we get to celebrate the victory with some Utah cheerleaders!

Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: (3) Ole Miss v. (24) LSU

It wasn't long that this game would feature the #3 and #24 ranked teams in the country with the rankings flip flopped. But this is 2014 and Ole Miss is the new big kid on the block while LSU struggles to hold on to national relevance.

Fortunately for us, both spirit squads will ALWAYS be relevant around here!

What Happened to North Carolina Football?

It wasn't that long ago that North Carolina's football team was pretty decent and making some serious waves in the ACC. I look today and they are dead last in their division. Sure their 4 losses have been to decent teams, but they just don't look very good this year.

You know what does look good, though? The North Carolina cheerleaders. Every. Single. Time. Thanks again to JBOTCH for the pictures!

A Beautiful Line Up of Arizona Wildcats Dancers

This is a great picture and a great angle of some of the Arizona Wildcats dancers. I feel like we need more of these. Maybe if we find more we can come up with a name like we did for the Overhead Cheer Circle. Who's with me?

Love This Picture of Our Boston College Dance Team Pal Jacqueline

One of my favorite cheerleader features of the last year or so was Boston College dancer Jacqueline! She was very easy to work with and seems to have an amazing head on her shoulders. So when I saw this new picture of her on Facebook yesterday, I just had to share.

Can UCONN Repeat as National Champs?

All the Midnight Madness frenzy is in the books, so the real work is about to start. And for the UCONN Huskies, that means the battle to defend their title is officially on. Do you think the Huskies have what it takes to repeat? The USA Today Coaches Poll has them at #15, so I'm guessing they don't think so.

Regardless of their ability to repeat, I'm ready to get their cheerleaders and dancers back on the court!

Week 8 Winners: West Virginia Mountaineers

The other big upset of the weekend also happened to come out of the Big 12, and this one was a doozy! The Baylor hype train was chugging full steam ahead, but apparently it couldn't get past the burning couches of West Virginia.

Week 8 Winners: Kansas State Wildcats

Remember when Bob Stoops used to talk about how overrated the SEC is? Yeah, that was pretty funny. Big Game Bob got taken out at home this weekend by a Kansas State team that has about 1/4 of the recruiting prowess of a team like Oklahoma. And now the Wildcats are in the driver's seat in the Big 12.

UCLA is NOT in the Preseason Top 25 Basketball Poll

How far has UCLA basketball fallen to not even be in the preseason coaches' Top 25? I mean, Nebraska is ranked #21 in the poll. I know Pauley Pavilion's floor was ruined, but this might be an even bigger slap in the face to the program.

On the bright side, they still have their world renowned cheerleaders and dancers, so not all is lost for the Bruins! Props to bulgo125 for the pictures.

Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: (5) Notre Dame v. (2) Florida State

It's just a matter of time before Jameis Winston is ruled ineligible for signing autographs for pay, but you know it's not going to be before Notre Dame comes to town. If we know anything about Florida State, it's they are willing to win at almost any cost. You don't come be known as Free Sneaker University by following the rules.

But since he is unlikely to miss such a massive game (especially the week after Florida State lost their #1 ranking), this matchup is still our Game of the Week. While I don't think Notre Dame has the horses to keep up with the Seminoles, I'm pretty terrible at picking winners. So I fully expect the Fighting Irish to pull this off.

So What is Going on With These Minnesota Dancers?

What do you think this move is called? Have the Minnesota dancers just come up with a new cheer move? I could totally see this sweeping the nation soon.

Sparkly Texas A&M Aggie Dancers

A little of the shine may have worn off the Texas A&M football squad from their early season hype, but that has had absolutely no impact on the Aggie dancers. They are still as shiny and gorgeous as ever!

Kentucky Is NOT Terrible at Football

Back at the beginning of the season we talked about whether or not this would be the year the Kentucky Wildcats broke through and made it to a bowl game. It was an iffy proposition at the time, but I think we can go ahead and pencil the Wildcats into a bowl slot now.

The Florida State Cheerleaders Join the Overhead Cheer Circle Bandwagon

Over on Pro Cheerleader Heaven yesterday, we coined the term "Overhead Cheer Circle" to properly name the common photo taken from above a group of cheerleaders lying on their backs in a big circle. It's one of my favorite pictures, so I thought it deserved a name.

So imagine my joy when I found this picture of the Florida State cheerleaders making their own Overhead Cheer Circle picture. I swear, I'm going to make this a thing!

Week 7 Winners: Mississippi State Bulldogs

Remember last week when I said that maybe Mississippi State was for real this year? Yeah, they are DEFINITELY for real this year!

Week 7 Winners: USC Trojans

Remember a time when USC beating Arizona wouldn't be considered an upset? Yeah, those were the good old days. But maybe we're headed back there now. The Pac-12 is weird place!

Week 7 Winners: Duke Blue Devils

While it may not be an upset on the level of last week's monumental defeats, Duke still knocked off a tough Georgia Tech team on the road and ended a 10 year losing streak to the Yellow Jackets. That's good enough for the Weekly Winners!

East Carolina Dancer Enjoying Herself on the Field

The swing of the hips and the shit-eating grin on her face tell me this East Carolina dancer is having an absolute blast. And she's got to be stoked about how her Pirates have started this football season!

Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: (2) Auburn v. (3) Mississippi State

Well this game got a lot more interesting in a hurry! This was always going to be a battle of ranked teams, but after Mississippi State's massive upset last and unprecedented climb in the rankings this is a big deal. I'm sure Auburn is really stoked about walking in Starksville the weekend after State's first ever Top 5 ranking.

Of course, this is just another weekend in the SEC. Top 5 match-ups have become the norm at this point.

Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: (9) TCU v. (5) Baylor

We have another slew of great college football games lined up this weekend, so we're going to have another multi-part Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview this week. I'm pretty sure no one is going to complain this week either.

The first game on our plate is TCU travelling to Waco to put their new found Top 10 status on the line against the high-flying Baylor Bears offense. I'm not sure TCU is the 9th best team in the country right now, but if they pull this one off they are going to be legit contenders in just about everyone's eyes.

Plus, this might be the best match-up of cheerleaders all season, let alone this week!
