The 'Cuse certainly looks like they are for real this year. Sure it was essentially a home game, but they pistol-whipped Cal last night at Madison Square Garden. Impressive win.

Sam Houston State Cheerleaders

How about little Sam Houston State hanging 92 on Kentucky and making them sweat until the end? I wasn't sold on Kentucky as a Top 5 team before this game (I mean, did anyone actually watch them play last year), but I'm certainly thinking over-rated after last night's performance.

And I'm guessing this Corey Allmond dude has his pick of the cheerleaders on campus.

Chipola College Cheerleaders

Here is another set of cheerleaders from a small school in Marianna, Florida. Chipola College is a two year community college that has turned into a pretty good basketball school over the last few years.

I know it's a couple of days late, but how awesome was Rider's upset of Mississippi State? At a ranked Mississippi State? On opening night? Man I love college basketball.

Cal State Fullerton Cheerleaders

Another upset a couple of days late, but still worth it. Cal State Fullerton goes to double OT to knock off UCLA in it's home opener. Go Titans! Looks like it might be a long rebuilding year for the Bruins.

Kansas State Cheerleader Cutie Kayla

Poor little Kayla. Her Wildcats were in the driver's seat until my Tigers showed up on Saturday. This weekend they play Nebraska in a very strange situation. Win they go the Big 12 Championship to represent the Big 12 North. Lose and they aren't even bowl eligible. Very strange. But I'll do my best to keep Kayla happy if they lose Saturday.
