USC Song Girls Rock Lake Tahoe

Every year the folks at USC head up to Lake Tahoe for a big alumni event. They always bring along the marching band and the Song Girls too. The tradition is for the Song Girls and band members to jump in the lake at some point. Not sure why, but tradition is tradition. Luckily our man bchua_90007 is always there to document the event.

It may not be as grand as their Swim with Mike shenanigans, but I'm guessing you'll still be interested!

Is UCLA Dancer Carley the Next Erin Andrews?

UCLA sophomore dancer Carley has big dreams. As a Communications major at UCLA, Carley hopes to take the world of sports broadcasting by storm after she graduates. Personally, I think we're being introduced to the next Erin Andrews today.

But in the mean time, Carley is going to continue dancing; something she's been doing since she was 2 years old. Carley spends a lot of her time at UCLA helping out children. Whether it's coaching 3-5 year olds with UCLA's junior spirit squad or volunteering her time to work with autistic students in a music therapy program, I think we can all agree that Carley is the kind of person we can all root for.

Personally, I hope we get to see Carley on the sidelines of major college football events for plenty of years to come. She can just trade in her blue and gold pompoms for a microphone!

A Couple of Gorgeous Tennessee Blondes

The Tennessee Volunteers have been a fairly trendy pick for the SEC dark horse candidate this year. I'm not sure I understand the hype on the field, but based on these platinum beauties any hype on the sidelines is absolutely justified!

Oklahoma's Cheerleaders Dominated Cheer Camp in Their Cheerleader LBDs

We shared a picture of the Dallas Mavericks cheerleaders rocking what we called the "cheerleader version of the little black dress" over on Pro Cheerleader Heaven the other day. Honestly, that was just something funny I came up with after seeing the picture. I don't think it's a real thing.

But then I run across these pictures of the Oklahoma Sooners cheerleaders at cheer camp, and they are rocking their own version of the Cheerleader LBD. Maybe this really is a thing. Maybe I made it a thing. Either way, I hope it's a trend that catches wildfire!

I've Always Loved This Southern Miss Cheerleader Pic

I love this picture of a Southern Miss cheerleader. For one thing, she's adorable. For another, I love the look on her face. She gives off a "I'm a badass, and I know it" vibe. But in the best way possible.

I only wish I had been able to track her down at some point. Alas, she eluded me.

Is This the Year the Kentucky Dancers Get to Dance at a Bowl Game?

The Kentucky Wildcats haven't been to a bowl game since the 2009-2010 season, but there is reason for hope in Lexington these days. Mark Stoops has been bringing in a lot of talent over the last couple of recruiting classes. Now we get to see if that talent can produce wins.

I, for one, am hopeful we get to see the Kentucky dancers on the sidelines of a bowl game this year.

The UGA Georgettes are Ready for the Post-Aaron Murray Era

For the first time in what feels like a decade, the UGA Georgettes are going to cheer for a quarterback not named Aaron Murray this season. Based on these pictures, I'm thinking they are up to the challenge.

I Hope Utah Turns it Around this Season

I really need the Utah football team to get things back on track this season. Not because I care about the team at all, but because I need reason to post more pictures of the Utah cheerleaders and dancers!

The Big 12 Cheerleaders Ruled Football Media Days

Now is the time of year when all the major conferences spend a handful of days talking about how great they are and how this is the year one of their teams runs the table and wins the whole thing. Other than the occasional fun sound bite, media days are pretty boring.

Except in the Big 12. The Big 12 conference actually invites cheerleaders from their schools to attend media days and be a part of the festivities. Genius move, in my opinion. It spices up an otherwise mundane event and we get pictures featuring cheerleaders from different teams hanging out together. That's a win-win!

Of Course the Texas Tech Cheerleaders Love Kliff Kingsbury

I'm pretty sure everyone that is in any way affiliated with Texas Tech loves them some Kliff Kingsbury. And for good reason. He is a good coach that has a chance to turn the Red Raiders into a real power in the Big 12.

So it could come as no surprise that these Texas Tech cheerleaders jumped at the chance to get their picture taken with the top Red Raider. Though I'm not sure why none of them have their guns up.

Colorado State Dance Team

I love the fact that Colorado State plays Colorado every year in football. That is the kind of in-state rivalry that is great for college football. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the Rams have been holding their own the last few years.

Hopefully we get to see the Colorado State dance team a few times during this year's prime time tilt at Mile High Stadium. We can only hope!

Check Out the South Florida Sun Dolls Beach Time Bonding

It's very important for college cheer and dance squads bond during the summer time. After all, these lovely ladies are going to be spending a ton of time together over the next few months. So bonding during the summer is critical.

When you are a South Florida Sun Doll, there is really no other place to have your bonding team other than the beach. Based on these pictures, I think the Sun Dolls are going to have a great year!

The Song Girls are Ready for Alabama

We found out this week that Alabama and USC will open the season against each other in the 2016 Cowboys Classic. Not gonna lie, that is a big time game. Especially if USC can regain their form after the Lane Kiffin disaster.

Most importantly, it's going to put the USC Song Girls in the national spotlight. That is ALWAYS a good thing!

Thanks to bulgo125 for the pictures.
