I Really Dig the Texas A&M Dancers

Maybe it's the fact that Texas A&M only has male cheerleaders that makes the Aggies' dancers that much more special. But I think it's more than that. Honestly, SI Cheerleader of the Week Kailey is going to be gorgeous with or without the all-male cheerleader squad.

I think it might be the shiny tops they wear. They just absolutely rock that disco ball look!

Florida State Cheerleaders Are Just Plain Hot

There's really no other word for it. They. Are. Hot. It's a bit unfair the natural advantage FSU has over most other schools, but what are they going to do about it. Just because their campus is over-run with gorgeous coeds they are supposed to suffer. Not gonna happen!

Iowa Hawkeyes Cheerleaders & Dancers

I've always been very fond of the Iowa cheerleaders and dancers. Maybe it's Midwestern solidarity!

Western Carolina Cheerleader Hannah Is Stunning!

There is just something special about a gorgeous girl with freckles. I know a lot of people (girls in particular) are self conscious about freckles, but I don't get it. I think freckles take a girl like Hannah, who is already beautiful, and just sets her apart a little bit more. Maybe it's just me, but I doubt it.

Regardless, freckles or no freckles, Hannah is going to stand out in a crowd. Add those long legs to the mix and I have a hard time believing she didn't win the Carolina's Next Top Model contest she entered. Somebody paid off a judge or something.

So until she hits it big in the modelling world, I guess we're just going to have to start going to more Western Carolina sporting events and cheering on the Catamounts!

2013 Oregon State Dance Squad Tryouts

We have spent a lot of time posting about tryouts over at Pro Cheerleader Heaven lately, so I figured it was time to post some pictures of what college tryouts look like. And thanks to my pal at Louie Paul Photography, I have plenty of pictures from the recent Oregon State dance and cheer tryouts.

Today we'll just focus on the dancers. Which means plenty of leg kicks and leaps and spins. Just makes me dizzy thinking about it!

Mizzou Golden Girls Ready for a Bounce Back Football Season

Let's be honest, Missouri's first football season in the SEC was a disaster. They couldn't keep their offensive line intact for more than a quarter at a time, the QB play was terrible and they lost to Syracuse. At home. Not a strong start to your tenure in the greatest football conference in history.

But one area that did not falter for the Tigers was the Golden Girls. As usual, these lovely ladies brought the thunder even when Eddie Lacy was running all over their home field like he was playing against 5th graders. Here's hoping the 2013 version of the Mizzou football squad gives the Golden Girls more to cheer about.

North Carolina A&T Cheerleaders & Golden Delight Dancers

A couple of weeks ago I posted some pictures of the Missouri State Sugar Bears and commented that I think they have the best squad name in the country. Then I get wind of the North Carolina A&T Golden Delight Dancers. In my mind, that is an equally badass squad name.

So I'll put it to you guys, which name do you like better: Sugar Bears or Golden Delight Dancers?

VCU's Ella Proves Strong is the New Skinny

Personally, I'm glad we're past the days of the waif look. I was never a big fan of Kate Moss' ribs staring out at me from every magazine cover. I much prefer the new trend of strong, healthy women getting the love they deserve. And our new friend Ella certainly falls into that category.

The VCU sophomore is a certified p90x trainer and coach, and you can tell she is seriously into fitness. So if any of you are looking for a smoking hot coach to motivate you, Ella just might be your girl. While she is majoring in Creative Advertisement and hopes to be a designer for a fashion magazine some day, I'm seeing Ella leading the resurgence of exercise shows on ESPN. Picture a modern day Kiana Tom or Denise Austin!

It takes a very confident young lady to wear that outfit in public! And these Grambling State don't just wear them, they rock the sh!t out of them!

USC Song Girls Dominate 2013 Swim With Mike

Every year the folks at USC have an event called Swim With Mike which is a "swim-a-thon" to make money for scholarships for physically challenged athletes. That's a damn good cause, and they do a good job with the event. The belly flop contest is always a crowd pleaser, but there is one event the outshines all the rest.

The "Song Girl/Student-Athlete Relay Race" requires athletes from different sports including water polo and football pushing "inner tube'd Song Girls" across the water. I'm not sure how this event was created, but I am damn glad bchua_90007 is there every year to get pictures of it! Here are the pics we posted from 2009 and 2010!
